Welcome
We are people who strive to “love God with all our heart, soul, mind, strength, and we love our neighbours as ourselves”. Our life together is built around our common walk with God as we share the good news of God’s love for humanity as shown by Jesus. Come and check us out! |

Coote’s Chronicles Dear Friends I hope and pray that this finds you well in the Lord as we approach our celebrations of the birth of our Saviour – Jesus Christ – who is also the reason for the season (see sign out the front of the church).
This is my last regular “Coote’s Chronicles” for the year as there will a special Christmas newssheet for next year. Over January, there will be a four week newssheet with regular newssheets resuming on the 29th January.
In reflecting on the past year, much has happened and we have been blessed by the fact that we have been able to do plenty in terms of setting up our plant and our ministries within our plant for the future.
We have added a youth group and a new sign. We have also improved the safety around our property in removing the cottage (with now no debt owing on it.)
We have plenty of good stuff happening and now we need to let others know about it. No one is exempt from this call. 2012 is to be the year of invitation where we go about inviting people we are in contact with to any of the activities run at either centre.
Next week, there will be a tool to assist with this, the 2012 Parish calendar. When it is out, please take two – one for you and one for a friend. I look forward to hearing about your invitational endeavours in 2012. After all, how are people going to know about Jesus if we don’t invite them?
Blessings, Leroy |
